Overview

The tour begins from Ho Chi Minh City and ends in Hanoi. This 10-day tour takes you from the southern part of Vietnam to the northern part, exploring all the major highlights in between. Your first destination is Ho Chi Minh City, where you will visit some of the famous historic sites of the city, including Ben Thanh Market, the Opera house, and the Notre Dame Cathedral. Go for a half-day tour to Cu Chi Tunnels. Vietnamese soldiers used these tunnels as their military base during the war and resistance to the US forces. See how peaceful has life become in the 'dead land' after the war. 

Cruise on the Mekong River for a whole day and explore the fascinating region of the Mekong Delta, "the rice bowl" of Vietnam. Then, spend the time relaxing on the white sand and soak on the sun at Bai Sao Beach on Phu Quoc island and revitalize yourself. Experience Vietnam's lovely sceneries, mouthwatering dishes, and the world-famous hospitality of the Vietnamese people. Delve into all the corners of Hanoi Old Quarter to learn more about the Vietnamese people. Day One:

Ho Chi Minh City Arrival

On your arrival, our representative will greet and transfer you to your respective hotel, along the way, he will give you a brief explanation on your trip further. After reaching the hotel, check into it and then you can relax at the hotel. Or, if you like, you can go and roam around this bustling city on your own.

Day Two:

Ho Chi Minh City Tour – Cu Chi Tunnels

We depart from the hotel in the morning and head towards the Independence Palace, also known as Reunification Palace, built on the sight of the former Norodom palace. The Independence Palace is one of the most famous attractions of Ho Chi Minh City, designed by the architect Ngo Viet Thu. It was the spot of the end of the Vietnam/American war in 1975, as a North Vietnamese army's tank collided through the entrance. This tank still lies in the Independence Palace grounds. We continue the trip from Independence Palace to see the gorgeous architecture from the French Colonial times like the Notre Dame Cathedral, the historic Central Post Office followed by the remarkable site of the War Remnants Museum. The museum contains a wide display of both of the Indochina wars. You will see huge military vehicles in the courtyard, kept for exhibition. Also, there are tiger cages in the courtyards, kept to give visitors feel of how it was to be a prisoner during wartimes. The museum building contains a different floor that represents a different theme from the way and the war crimes committed towards the Vietnamese people. after touring the Ho Chi Minh City, we drive towards the CU Chi Tunnels. We have to cover about 60km to reach Cu Chi Tunnels from Ho Chi Minh City. Cu Chi is now considered a heroic district for its role in the anti - American war in Vietnam, and the tunnels are famous for its tunnel system that stretches over 220kmm. The tunnel is popular among both Vietnamese and foreigners. At present, the area over the tunnel is such peaceful that you won't believe that this was a free target One during the war. You will see scenic rice paddy farms, animals grazing and swimming in the fields and rivers alongside the road. However, you will see many remnants of the war at the Cu Chi tunnels that proves the fierce war that took place here. For gun enthusiasts, you can fire off an Ak-47 or other guns of the war era in the near shooting center.

Day Three:

Mekong Delta/ Can Tho

This morning, we head towards the Mekong Delta. We drive through the rural roads down Vietnam's southern region through paddy rice field, pine-apple plantation, orchard, and small hamlets. The drive takes around a couple of hours. after arriving in My Tho, you will hop on a local motorboat along the Dragon Island, Unicorn Island, Phoenix Island, Turtle Island, and stop at the famed Unicorn Island. At Unicorn Island, you can go for a short trek to the top of the island, or go for a rowing boat trip. also, you can enjoy some tropical foods in an orchard, have pure natural honey at a bee farm while enjoying the traditional music. From here, we continue the motorboat trip to Ben Tre province to visit the Mekong, where the locals make delicious handmade coconut candy. Then, we transfer to a small motorboat and travel through the verdant, green canals, and stop at Mien Tay restaurant to enjoy Vietnamese lunch and ride a bike and explore around the village. In the afternoon, we board a bus and head towards Can Tho, where we will spend the night.

Day Four:

Can Tho - Cai Rang Floating Market - Rach Gia

After breakfast, we take a morning boat trip to visit the largest floating market in Can Tho (Cai Rang). The market is busiest in the morning time. we cruise through the small channels system and visit a rice noodle making village. Experience the "Monkey Bridge" in the Delta. Walk through the fruit garden. See how they make the noodles. Then, we will take a short lunch break. After lunch, we head towards Ho Chi Minh City from where we board a public bust to Rach Gia city. Upon arrival at Rach Gia, we will transfer you to the hotel. The evening is free for your leisure. 

Day Five:

Rach Gia to Phu Quoc Island

In the morning, we depart Rach Gia by hydrofoil to Phu Quoc island. Upon reaching Phu Quoc island, we move towards the hotel where we will check-in. You will have free time till the early afternoon. After lunch, we head out to the Eastern Island. Here, we will visit a local pepper garden where "itsy-bitsy teeny weeny peppercorns" are patiently grown. Then, we move on to the Ham Ninh ancient village, where you can enjoy fresh seafood. From here, we head towards the Tranh Stream and one of the most beautiful waterfalls on Phú Quốc. next, we travel to Hung Long/ Phap Quang Pagoda that lies on a high hill and overlooks the town. In the evening, we head back to Duong Dong town and stop at a Sim wine distillery where you can taste the local wine. Then, we will visit the Dinh Cau temple and enjoy dinner at a local restaurant. 

Day Six:

Phu Quoc Excursions

Today, there are a couple of options you can choose from to spend the day. 

Option 1: Sao Beach Tour

In the morning, we head towards the south side of the island to visit the Fish sauce workshop where you can learn about the techniques of producing the fish sauce and also enjoy the unique aromatic flavor of Phu Quoc fish sauce. After visiting the workshop, we take a short lunch break. Then, we head towards the Pearl Farm, where you will get to see how oyster shells are cut open to retrieve pearls, and the way of adorning these pearls on silver or gold ornaments. Likewise, you will visit the coconut prison. The French colonists built this prison in 1949-1950 to lockup those considered particularly dangerous to the colonist government. Finally, end your day at Sao beach, one of the most beautiful beaches in the South East of Phuquoc island. Enjoy the beach while relaxing on the beach and swimming in salty water. Then, in the evening, we will have lunch at a local restaurant.

Option 2: Snorkeling Tour

In the morning, we head towards the Pearl farm, where you will get to see how the oyster shells are cut open to retrieve pearls and the techniques used to adorn these pearls into silver and gold ornaments. From here, we head towards the pier and then board on a boat for snorkeling and fishing. Explore the underwater world with snorkeling and enjoy the colorful view of the coral reef and the school of fish passing by. Afterward, we will enjoy lunch on board. Then, we head back to the per and move on to the Sao beach, one of the most beautiful beach in the Southeast of Phu Quoc island. In the evening, we return to the hotel and enjoy dinner in a local restaurant.

Day Seven:

Phu Quoc / Hanoi Flight

This day is free till the afternoon. After breakfast, enjoy the free day by exploring the island or just chill out on the beach. This afternoon, we check-out from the hotel and head towards the Phu Quoc airport from where we board on a flight to Hanoi. On your arrival, the driver will pick you up at the airport and then transfer you to the hotel. After checking in the hotel, you can go exploring Hanoi on your own pace, or you can simply relax at the hotel. There are lots of attractions to visit in Hanoi. You can visit Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum and Museum, One Pillar Pagoda, Ethnology museum, Military Museum or Fine Art museum, Dong Xuan market, Hoan Kiem lake, Tay lake, and many more.

Day Eight :

Hanoi/ Halong Bay Cruise

In the morning, our guide will pick you up at the hotel with a shuttle bus or a private car. Then, we depart from Hanoi for Halong Bay cruise. Along the way, enjoy the tranquil landscape as we travel through the countryside, farmlands, and Red River delta. Keep your camera ready as you will pass through many picturesque sceneries along the way. We will reach Halong Bay within four hours from Hanoi. After reaching Halong Bay, we will take a short break. Then, we boar on a cruise and meet the captain and your cruise crew, who will welcome you with a refreshing drink. Then, check into the cabin and relax. Today, we will have lunch on board. Join us for a typical local lunch in the dining room or the outdoor dining area. This afternoon, we head towards Hang Dung Sot, the Surprising Cave. We then explore the cave and learn why the cave is called Surprising Cave. Next, we head to the Titop island. We will stop in the calm water surrounded by beautiful islands. At Titop island, you can go for swimming and snorkeling or, you can also go for a short hike to the peak of the island from where you can get a panoramic view of the Halong bay. After enjoying all the activities the island offers, we head toward the sleeping area. In the evening, we sit on the sundeck to watch enchanting sunset, and you can also enjoy the sunset party. It is a great time to make acquaintance with fellow travelers and share your traveling experience while watching the mesmerizing sunset. You will have an authentic Vietnamese cuisine for dinner today. Also, you can select from a wide variety of cocktails onboard, and also enjoy activities like reading, games, movies, and squid fishing.

Day Nine:

Halong Bay to Hanoi

Today, we wake up early and join us for a Tai Chi session. Taichi is a great way to help your mind focus and conditions the body to get fully recharged for the long day. After the session, you will enjoy a local breakfast onboard. As we sail through the tranquil waters heading to Luon Cave, enjoy the astonishing views of the bay, and it's enchanting limestone islets. You can enjoy exploring the cave by yourself on a kayak, or you can also take a bamboo boat rowed by the locals. You can check out at any time as we cruise through the beautiful attractions in the bay. You can also join a short cooking class to enhance your cooking skills and learn ways to make Vietnamese cuisine. Then, you can have the food you have prepared for lunch. Later, we return to the shore and depart from the cruise as we bid farewell to the crew. On the shore, our van or bus will be waiting for us. We will be back to our hotel in the early evening.

Day Ten:

Trip Concludes

The trip ends today. After bidding farewell, we will transfer you to the airport from where you can board the flight to your further destination. However, if you want to make a further trip to Vietnam or want accommodation, inform us and we can manage that for you.
