Lukla is the gateway to the Everest region and the place where our trek, too, will begin. We will gradually move downward from Lukla towards a Cheplung village from where we can get the bewitching view of a holy mountain - Mount Khumbila. From here, we will walk on a smooth path and gradually walk downwards until we reach the Phakding village. Phakding village is a famous village of the Everest region from where we can witness the mesmerizing view of majestic mountains and alluring landscapes. As it is the beginning of the trek, we will be walking for only three hours.

Day Three:

Phakding to Namche (3450 meters)

Our trek from Phakding starts in the morning right after breakfast. Today, we will move towards Namche Bazaar. From Phakding, the trail follows the Dudh Koshi valley on the north side, passing through the Himalayan and cedar forests. Our trek will then continue through the upstream passing over the Dudh Koshi River to Sagarmatha national park entrance, and we reach across the Hillary Bridge. After crossing Hillary Bridge, we will take the path upwards to Namche Bazaar. The trip from Phakding to Namche Bazaar will take approximately six hours. On our way to Namche Bazaar, we will get to witness picturesque sights of grandiose Mt. Everest and Mt. Lhotse.

Day Four:

Day hike at Namche Bazaar

This is the major day for our trek. We will visit various places on this day. Today, we will climb up the steep path towards the Everest View Hotel and twin villages- Khumjung and Khunde. This is one of the most beautiful villages among Sherpa villages in the Khumbu region. Everest View hotel boasts about the view of Everest you get from every window of the hotel. Most importantly, the Everest view hotel is famous for the spectacular view of the Himalayas you get from where. The Himalayas includes two eight thousand meters’ mountains- Mt. Everest and Mt. Lhotse. Also, the Himalayas like Tabuche, Cholatse, Thamserku, Kwangde, Khandala, and the beautiful Ama Dablam can be seen from here. After enjoying the delightful view from Everest View hotel, we will descend towards Khumjung, where we will pay a visit to the Hillary School and a five-hundred-year-old monastery where Yeti’s skull is kept since 1995. Khumjung is the largest settlement village in this region, and you will get to experience the Sherpa’s lifestyle and cultural activities, first hand. The view feels completely difficult moving downhill when compared to the view you saw while ascending. We will move through the open plains, fragranced rhododendron, and pine forests accompanied by the snow-covered peaks in the distance. We walk through the mani stone walls and many beautiful monasteries on our way back. There will constantly be prayer flags and stones along the way while we walk through the villages.
