Itinerary Show all

Day One:

Arrival at Tribhuwan International Airport, Kathmandu

Upon arriving at Kathmandu, you will meet our airport representative, who will transfer you to your respective hotel in Thamel. On your way to the hotel, our airport representative will provide you the brief details about your further activities. Nothing much is planned for this day, so you will just meet your trekking guide and be informed about your daily activities on your stay. After that, you can just rest at your hotel or involve in any activities you like. In the evening, our company will organize a welcome dinner for you to enjoy.

Day Two:

Drive from Kathmandu to Syarubesi

After having breakfast, we will drive to the village of SyaruBesi. You will take a tourist bus to the initial point of the trek. The bus will take us through some important commercial and historical sites where we can visit while taking brief breaks. You will get to witness astonishing scenery of the vegetation and landscape as we move deeper into the rural area of Nepal. The journey will take approximately seven to eight hours; however, we will get magnificent views of Ganesh Himal, Manaslu, and Mt Kerung of Tibet along the way.

Day Three:

Trek from Syarubesi to Lama Hotel (2640m)

Today is the first day of our trek. We will start the trek to Langtang Gosainkunda from the early morning. We will cross through the bridge over the immense Trishuli River from Syarubesi. The initial part of the trek is easy with a plain and straight trail through the lavish forest in the hills leading the steep climb over a rocky ridge to Paihiro Lodge, and further, the route climbs gently to Bamboo Lodge. Then, we will ascend slowly to the Lama Hotel. As you get closer to the Lama Hotel, the forest starts clearing. Along the way, we will witness the Tibetan lifestyle in the small villages. We will also get to witness endangered wildlife like Red Panda at Langtang National Park.

Day Four:

Trek to Langtang village(3340m)

Before starting the trek, we will go for a quick warm in the early morning to get the view of sunrise from a hill. In the initial part of the trek, we will move through the fragrant rhododendron forest to reach Gunachowk. The view is mostly clear, and you can get an enchanting view of Langtang Lirung, Naya Kang, and many other sub-ranges. Also, you will pass through the villages of Thomna, Ghortabela, and Thyangsyap along the trail. The surrounding area is thick and home to lots of wildlife. We can also find various kinds of herbs in this area. Also, we will make a brief stop in many villages along the way where you can experience the Tamang culture of the region. With the walk of approximately six hours, we will reach Langtang valley in the evening. The village is very beautiful, even from a distance.

Day Five:

Trek to Kyanjing Gompa (3860m)

Compared to other days of the Langtang Gosainkunda Trek, the trek is a bit shorter today, so there will be sufficient time for you to enjoy the surrounding gorgeous view during the trek. In the morning, you can go for a short village tour. The Kyangjing Village is one of the culturally rich and important settlements of the Langtang region. You can relax for the rest of the day and take a short tour of the village. In the evening, you can pay a visit to the local cheese factory and try some of their delicacies.

Day Six:

Acclimatization at Kyanjing

This day is planned for you to acclimatize and get accustomed to the higher altitude environment. Acclimatization is vital in the Himalayas to prevent altitude sickness. Even though the day is left for rest, we will be making short hikes nearby the villages. We will be visiting Kyanjing Gompa. This place is filled with beautiful ancient paintings, and the gompa itself is of great importance to the locals. Depending on your preference, we might also hike to Kyanjing Ri, Tsergo Ri, or visit Lanshisa Kharka. After short hikes, we will return to Kyanjing, where you can simply rest or roam around the village.

Day Seven:

Trek to Lama Hotel from Kyanjing

From Kyanjing, we will begin the trek from the early morning. In the morning, the village appears even more gorgeous with the stunning backdrop of snow-capped peaks. Today, we will mostly be descending and walk through some of the previously visited villages to reach the Lama Hotel. On your way to the Hotel, you might also get to witness Himalayan Sheep and beautiful Himalayan Birds. The walk gets comfortable as we get near the Lama Hotel. We will reach there in the late afternoon. The rest of the day is free for you to rest.

Day Eight:

Trek to Thulosyabru Village (2540m)

Halfway, we will be following the same trail as before to Pahiro Lodge leading through beautiful rhododendron forest with wild boar and beautiful birds. After that, we will change the route to reach the Thuosyabru village. After moving through the Bamboo village, we can see the Syabrubensi from the trail separating at Pahiro. For a couple of hours, we will ascend steadily to the Thulosyabru village. The village is very beautiful and is also relatively larger than other settlements in the Langtang region. During the evening, we can go for a village tour and try some mouthwatering local cuisine.

Day Nine:

Trek to Lauribina (3920m)

The day will start with the views of the marvelous landscape surrounding the village. We will begin the day with the delicious breakfast of the village. The trek will start with a slow ascent to the ridge at Phoprang Dada situated at the height of 3190 meters. This hill is quite famous among both the visitors and locals for the wonderful fresh breeze along with the panorama of majestic mountain peaks. We will pass through the scented rhododendron forest amongst the sub-tropical ones to reach Sing Gompa or Chandan Bari, where we will stop for a short break. After the break, we will make our wat to the village of Lauribina. On our way to Lauribina, we will also visit Langtang National Park, famous as the home to endangered Red Panda. As Lauribina gets closer, the marvelous views of Manaslu, Annapurna, and Ganesh Himal appears to be even more gorgeous. The beautiful view makes the walk of seven hours worth it.

Day Ten:

Trek to Gosainkunda (4210m)

We will begin our trek from the early morning as we can get astounding views of the Himalayas from the nearby ridge at Lauribina in the morning. Our final destination for today is the sacred lake of Gosainkunda. Today’s trek is also quite comfortable. The trail to Gosainkunda is one of the most beautiful treks we will see in our journey. We pass through pastures and small streams before reaching Gosainkunda. Even though there are dozens of small and big lakes surrounding the area, Gosainkunda Lakes is the most famous one. All of these gorgeous lakes can be reached with just a few hours of hiking from the major lake of our trek. Saraswati Kunda (Lake), Bhairav Kund, DudhKund, RagatKund, Chandra Kund, and AmaKund are some of the popular lakes that we will visit today. Gosainkunda Lake is mainly popular among Hindu people; they visit the lake all year round. There is a legend that the lake is made by Lord Shiva with his mighty Trishul to quench his thirst. Thus, the river where this lake’s water goes to is named Trishuli, which we crossed down in Syabrubesi. It is believed that their prayers will be answered by Lord Shiva if they walk to Gosaikunda with a clean heart and worship at the shrine.  

Day Eleven:

Trek to Gopte(3640m) via Lauribina la Pass

After adoring the view of the gorgeous sunrise from Gosainkunda, we will begin the trek for the day to the village of Gopte. The initial destination for today is the Lauribina La Pass, which is also the highest point of our trek. On our way to Lauribina Pass, we will pass over three small lakes and ascend uphill. After you arrive at the Lauribina Pass, we can have an amazing 360-degree view of the rocky hills and snow-capped mountains dominating the skylines. We will spend some time at the pass enjoying the gorgeous view. Then, we will descend to the village of Gopte, where we will spend the night. The trek will take a total of seven hours.

Day Twelve:

Trek to Kutumsang (2540m)

The destination for today is Kutumsang. We will mostly be trekking downhill and pass through a lush sub-tropical forest. The trek to Kutumsang is quite rejuvenating. Walking down the ridge, we will get some stunning view of Dorjelakpa and Shisha Psangma standing tall at the height of 8027 meters. Then, we will walk further to the Kutumsang village by crossing the Magin Goth.

Day Thirteen:

Trek to ChisaPani

Today we will be trekking to Chisapani, which is one of the most famous hiking destinations near to Kathmandu. Chisapani is included in our trip as the destination boasts about its beautiful natural and cultural delights. The trail to Chisapani highlights the beauty of the Helambu region as a whole. The trail goes up and down the lush green hills arriving at the natural viewpoint of Chisapani. We can get an enchanting view of the far and wide hills and mountains from here. Lose and plunge yourself into nature’s lap in the picturesque setting of Chisapani.

Day Fourteen:

Trek to Sundarijal and drive to Kathmandu

The last day of the trek commences with an astonishing sunrise view from the hotel. We will be staying at Chisopani. From Chisopani, we will walk to Sundarijajl and drive back to Kathmandu. We will be passing through various settlements where we can make short stops to try some of the mouthwatering local cuisines. On our arrival at Sundarija, we will take a private cab back to your hotel in Kathmandu. The evening is free for personal time. You can simply rest at your hotel or enjoy roaming around the streets of Thamel. You can also enjoy the different vibe of Thamel during nighttime. The streets of Thamel gets bright with beautiful lights and live music in every corner from bars and pubs.

Day Fifteen:

Trip Concludes

This is the day you will depart from Nepal. Our airport representative will transfer you to the Tribhuwan International Airport approximately three hours of your scheduled flight.
