Our trip begins with an hour's drive to Nayapul village. Then, we will ascend for three hours to reach Ghandruk, a famed Gurung village. This village is also popular for the closest view of Annapurna and Machhapuchhre you can get from here. Then we will move to Ghorepani from where we will trek early in the morning to reach Poon Hill, which offers mesmerizing sunrise view.

Arrive at Tribhuwan International Airport (TIA), Kathmandu
Upon arriving at Kathmandu, you will meet our airport representative, who will transfer you to your respective hotel in Thamel. On your way to the hotel, our airport representative will provide you the brief details about your further activities. We have not planned anything for this day. You will meet your trekking guide and get information on the daily activities of your stay. After that, you can just rest at your hotel or involve in any activities you like. In the evening, our company will organize a welcome dinner for you to enjoy.
Kathmandu Sightseeing and trekking preparation
We will begin our Kathmandu explore tour after breakfast. The capital city of Nepal, Kathmandu, is one of the most important historical cities. There are lots of UNESCO World Heritage Site you can visit in Kathmandu valley. First of all, we will take a trip to Kathmandu Durbar Square that stands proudly at Basantapur. There, we will visit Kumari Temple, Hanuman Dhoka Museum, the statue of Kaal Bhairab (the god of destruction), Taleju Vawani (this temple opens only once annually). Likewise, we will visit one of the most significant Hindu Temple– Pashupatinath, the renowned Swoyambunath and Boudhanath, one of the largest stupas in the world –. Then, we will move further to Bhaktapur, ancient the royal capital. This whole city is recognized as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. We will visit Bhaktapur Durbar Square, witness traditional houses and Newari museums. Afterward, we will go to Nagarkot hill. Nagarkot hill is one of the finest destinations to watch Kathmandu Valley. Finally, we will visit Lalitpur, where we will learn about Nepalese history. In the evening, we will prepare all the gears necessary and we will give you detail information about the trip.
Kathmandu to Pokhara
We will leave Kathmandu and enjoy a delightful drive to Pokhara, which will take approximately six hours. The journey is filled with an astonishing natural backdrop, and the drive is made enjoyable with the presence of Nepal's countryside filled with swift sights of the villages and natural beauty. On our way back, we will see beautiful cultivated terraced fields, rocky gorges, rivers, green valleys, and typical village life of Nepal. The natural paradise- Pokhara will also present an incredible view of the Himalayas such as Manaslu, Dhaulagiri, Machhapuchhre, as well as the five mountains of Annapurna. As the city is a tourist hub, there is always a party vibe. So, for fun lovers, Pokhara is the best place they can visit. We will be staying at the hotel in Pokhara near Phewa Lake. We can also engage in leisure activities like boating and fishing in tranquil Phewa Lake, accompanied by the vast panorama of the Himalaya range, lush hills, and more.
Drive to Nayapul and trek to Tike Dhunga (1570m)
We will have early morning breakfast at the hotel and drive to Nayapul, a small settlement near the river. After about a one-and-a-half-hour drive, we will reach Nayapul, where the luggage will be prepared for the porters. The actual trek starts from Nayapul. Initially, we will pass through the beautiful village named Lumle, from where we will head towards Birethanti on a wide trail set on the intersection point of the Burundi and Modi River. As this is our first day of the trek, we will have a short and easy trek. We need to stop for the formality check at the office of ACAP in Birethanti, then the walk carries on along a graveled road, through the forest of bamboo and few villages along the way. Furthermore, we will ascend slowly up nearby the valley to reach Hille situated at the height of 1,495 m. With a short climb from Hille, we will reach Tike Dhunga. Overall, we will be walking for about four hours.
Tike Dhunga to Ghorepani (2850m)
Today's destination is a small village situated at an altitude of 3000m. Leaving Tike Dhunga, we walk through the steep climb to reach Ulleri. Ulleri is a large Magar settlement lying at the height of 2070m. Within an hour's walk from Ulleri, we will reach our resting point. The trail slight climbs up from this point, passing through the oak and rhododendron forests, we will reach Banthani set at the height of 2250 meters. From here, we will walk until we arrive at Nagethanti situated at 2460 meters. Then, we will walk for about one hour to reach Ghorepani, which is our final destination for the day. Ghorepani is the conserved area home to the largest rhododendron forests. Comparatively, the day is tougher than before; however, the view you get from these destinations are astonishing. On the ideal season, you will get to notice the area surrounded by snow. Also, you will be blessed with the stunning views of Dhaulagiri I (8167m), Annapurna I (8091m), Nilgiri (6940m), Himchuli (6441m), and more. The trip
Hike up to Poon Hill and Tadapani (2610m)
This is the most expected day of the Annapurna Panorama Trek. The trek begins from early morning to reach Poon Hill and witness the heavenly view. The brilliant experience of getting the view of the first ray of sun between the Himalayan giants like Mt. Dhaulagiri (8,167m), Mt. Annapurna I (8,091m), Annapurna II (7937m), Annapurna III (7555m), Annapurna IV (7525m), Mt. Nilgiri (7,040m), Annapurna South (7219m), Himchuli (6441m), Lamjung Himal (6,986m), fishtail or Machhapuchhre (6,997m), and more which will make for the ideal unforgettable moments. Relishing the stunning view of the sunrise and mountains, we will return to Ghorepani. After Ghorepani, we will trek to Tadapani through the fragrant rhododendron forest to the Deurali Pass. From Deurali Pass, we descend to Banthanti. From Banthanti, we continue to descend through the forest of rhododendron, until we reach Tadapani; past Thulo Odar Kharka and Lui Kharka. During the spring season, you will notice 15 different species of rhododendron in full blossom on your way to Tadapani. Tadapani also exhibits the fabulous views of Annapurna South (7219m), Machhapuchhre (6993m), and Himchuli. Today, we will be hiking for approximately eight hours.
Tadapani to Pokhara
Today, we will descend from Tadapani through forests to Ghandruk, a Small settlement of Gurung people – the ethnic groups of Nepal. From Ghandruk, the walk downhill to Kimche is quite easy. We will reach Kimche within four hours from where we will drive for two hours to reach Pokhara.
Pokhara to Kathmandu
Today, we will bid goodbye to this beautiful city of Lake. We will have a lovely drive back to Kathmandu today. The journey is full of beautiful natural background, and the drive is much more pleasant with the presence of Nepal's countryside filled with swift sights of the villages and natural beauty. You can spend the rest of the time in Kathmandu doing an activity of your interest. As this is your last day in Nepal, you can shop or roam around the city. During night time Thamel is filled with street lights and live music coming from pubs, you can enjoy the night vibe of the city here too.
This is the day you will depart from Nepal. Our airport representative will transfer you to the Tribhuwan International Airport approximately three hours of your scheduled flight.
