Usually, the trek starts with the beautiful flight from Kathmandu to Lukla. Lukla airport is considered to be one of the most stunning yet dangerous airports in the world. Right from the start of your trekking, you will enjoy the view of the majestic mountain from the plane. After your flight drops you at Lukla airport, we will move towards Namche through the way of Phakding and Monjo. Namche is mostly famous as the gateway to the world’s highest peak, and you will get to meet with lots of fellow tourists. The major highlights of Namche include Tibetan market, mountain views such as Thamserku and prominent Hotel Everest View from where you can see the panorama of the world’s tallest mountain- Mt. Everest.

Then the trail will lead towards the Tengboche from where you will be able to witness the full view of one of the highest national park in the world which is listed as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO – Sagarmatha National Park. Sagarmatha National Park is home to many high altitude flora and fauna such as fir, pine, rhododendron, oak, and wildlife like musk deer, Derow, Ghoral, and Himalayan Thar as well as red-billed chough, Impheyan pheasant. Blood pheasant, yellow-billed chough.

Next, you will be going towards Kalapatthar and the Everest Base Camp, both of which are famous vantage points in the Everest region that offers some stunning mountain views. Itinerary Show all

Day One:

Arrive at Tribhuwan International Airport (TIA) Kathmandu

On your arrival at Tribhuwan International Airport, our airport representative will welcome you and give a short explanation of the further program. This day is left for you to rest, so you can simply relax after checking into the hotel or involve in any kind of activity you like.

Day Two:

Exploring Kathmandu

After the day of your arrival, you will go sightseeing in the capital of Nepal- Kathmandu. The sightseeing will start after you have your breakfast at the hotel. After breakfast, meet your guide and start the Sightseeing Tour of Kathmandu. You will be visiting various UNESCO World Heritage Sites like Kathmandu Durbar Square, Swoyambhunath (Monkey Temple), Pashupatinath- Hindu temple of Lord Shiva, Boudhanath (You can customize the places you want to visit). Then, we will return to the hotel to prepare for tomorrow.

Day Three:

Fly to Lukla and trek to Phakding (2652m)

On the third day, we will be flying to Lukla, where you will get to experience one of the most beautiful flights as you witness numerous mountain peaks. The landing field at Lukla is at high altitude, and the difference between the two ends of the airstrip is about only sixty meters. Due to its location in high altitude and the numerous mountain view, Lukla airport is said to be one of the most dangerous and beautiful airports in the world. After your arrival, you will meet the trekking crew at Lukla then begin the trek to Phakding. On your trek to Phakding, you will cross over beautiful green land along with the stunning sight of Kusum Kangaru. The trek from Lukla to Phakding will take about 3 hours. We will be staying for a night at Phakding.

Day Four:

Trek to Namche Bazaar (3440m)

The trek to Namche Bazaar will start after breakfast. We will be moving alongside the Dudh Koshi river climbing side to side with Himalayan pine and cedar trees. After a while, we will reach the check-post and entrance to the Everest National Park. The trail then follows the convergence of Dudh Koshi and Bhote Koshi river and reaches Chautara. From here, it takes about two hours to reach Namche Bazaar. Namche Bazaar is renowned as a historic trading post between Tibetans and Nepalese traders. You will get the first sight of Everest and other surrounding peaks, and you can also visit local markets and purchase traditional crafts and many other things. The total trekking duration for this day will be about six hours.

Day Five:

Acclimatize at Namche Bazaar

This day is planned to get you properly acclimatized with high altitude at Namche Bazaar. However, the time here will not be wasted doing nothing. You can hike to the highest airport, Syangboche Airport, at an altitude of 3770m. Or, we can hike up to the Everest View Hotel, which is very famous for the panoramic view of Everest, Tawache, Lhotse, Amadablam, and many other mountains. We will also be visiting Everest Photo Gallery and Sherpa Museum before going back to Namche Bazaar, where we will spend the night.

Day Six:

Trek to Tengboche (3860m)

After departing from Namche Bazaar, we will climb up to Tengboche, lying at an altitude of 3860m. The walk to Tengboche is quite easy, and we will also get to witness the view of Mount Everest on the way. We will walk towards Trashinga and then descend to cross the Dudh Koshi River at Pungki Thanka (3250m). Then, we will move ahead from the right side of the Dudh Koshi to reach Tengboche Monastery at an altitude of 3860m. Here, you will witness the outstanding view of Mt. Amadablam, Mt. Everest and many other mountains.

Day Seven:

Trek to Dingboche (4410m)

The trek goes to the upper path crossing through many Chortnes, Mani walls, and small villages. The route to Dingboche goes from down through the gorgeous woods, crossing through Imja River and Pangboche village (3900m). Moreover, we can observe views of majestic peaks like Amadablam, Lhotse, and many more. And, cross over the Dingboche, which is famous as the ‘summer valley.’

Day Eight :

Trek to Lobuche (4910m)

Departing from Dingboche, we will trek for about five hours to reach Lobuche. On the way, we will stroll around a wide valley floor before arriving at Dughla. Also, we will walk past the Trekkers Aid Post, which is situated at Pheriche(4240m), where western volunteer doctors provide treatment to trekkers. The trail still carries on to the valley and then down to the yak pastures before reaching Lobuche.

Day Nine:

Trek to Everest Base Camp (5364m) and return Gorakshep (5181m)

The ninth day of the trek is one of the most vital days. We will be going a short way up through pastures and then hike down at the Khumbu glacier. Moreover, you will witness the best vantage point of this region- Kala Patthar from where you will get some marvelous view of the entire southern face of Mt. Everest and the surrounding peaks. We will get to Gorak Shep then walk few hours from Lobuche from where we will move towards the Everest Base Camo. The trek to Everest Base Camp is filled with many ups and downs. After a steady walk of about three hours, you will reach Everest Base Camp from where one can observe the breathtaking Khumbu Glacier and icefall.

Day Ten:

Hiking to Kalapatthar (5545m) and fly back to Kathmandu

This is the last day of your trek. The hiking will begin early in the morning to get the view of bewitching sunrise views from Kala Patthar (5545m). It is the best viewpoint from where you can observe Mt. Everest as well as other beautiful Himalayan ranges. After you see the sunrise, we will return to Gorakh Shep, where we will stop for breakfast. Finishing our breakfast, we will return to Kathmandu on a luxurious helicopter ride. From the helicopter, you will experience pleasant aerial views of the gorgeous scenery as well as the grandiose Himalaya range.

Day Eleven:

Trip Concludes

On this day, we will transfer you to the Tribhuwan International Airport to catch your flight back home or to your following destination.
