Bali’s temperature is warm all year round; the island has a tropical climate with just two seasons, wet and dry. From April to September, Bali has dry season while the rainy season falls from October to the end of March. On average, the island’s temperature lies around 28-degree Celsius. The peak traveling season in Bali is from July and August, also through mid-December to January 1st, so there will be a massive crowd at this time. Bali’s mountainous region is much colder, with more rainfall compared to the coasts. If you plan to travel to the mountain areas, you need to pack some warm clothes. Overall, May and September would be the best time to visit Bali as the weather is dry and sunny. The rainy season is also fine to visit the island as rainfalls are very fast and intense and last for only a few hours, so it doesn’t hamper the trip. There is no such extreme difference in seasons in Bali. The dry season is best to climb volcanoes and participate in water sport activities. The time between April and September is ideal for diving.
