Day One:

Arrival at Paro, drive to Thimphu

You will start the trip with a scenic flight to Paro. On your journey to Bhutan, you will get stunning views of mountain peaks like Mt. Everest, Mount Kanchenjunga, and many other famous peaks, including Mount Chomolhari and Jichu Drake of Bhutan. Upon arrival at Paro International Airport, our airport representative will welcome you and escort you to Thimphu, the capital city of Bhutan. After arriving at Thimphu, you check into the hotel and freshen up before exploring this beautiful town. After freshening up, we go for a sightseeing tour in Thimphu. We visit the fortress of Glorious Religion, built in the year 1641. King Jigme Dorji Wangchuk rebuilt the fort in 1965. Now, the dzong is the residence of the secretariat of the king. On the other side of the river, you will see the National Assembly Hall. 

Day Two:

Thimphu Sightseeing and drive back to Paro

Today, we wake up early in the morning and have a mouthwatering breakfast. Then, we head out to visit the bustling weekend market that occurs regularly from Thursday to Sunday. From here, we move towards Paper Mill, where they make handmade papers, we also attend the School of Arts and Crafts. The School of Arts and Crafts teaches 13 different arts native to Bhutan. Afterward, we stop for a short lunch break. After lunch, we drive to the Buddha Point. On the way, we pass through the memorial Chorten built in the memory of the third king. We will also make a trip to a sanctuary where we can see the national animal of Bhutan, Takin. Then, a visit to Zilukha Nunnery. In the evening, we head out towards Paro.

Day Three:


Today, we visit Drrugyal Dzong. Drugyal Dzong is a ruined fortress that lies around 16 kilometers away from Paro. From the fort, we can get astounding views of Mount Chomolhari, "the Abode of the Goddess Chomo." Then, we return to the hotel for a short lunch break. After lunch, we head towards the National Museum (Ta-Dzong). The National Museum was formerly a watchtower of the Paro Rinchen Pong Dzong. Visit Paro Rinchen Pong Dzong- the administrative seat of the district of Paro that also consists of a state monastic community of about 200 monks. You can also visit the famous Taktsang Monastery Hike, renowned as the Tiger's Nest. The monastery stands proudly on a rocky cliff with a sheer height of around 800 meters overlooking the Paro Valley and river. The evening is free for your leisure activities; you can stroll around the streets of this beautiful valley. Or go shopping in the local markets.

Day Four:

Paro Departure

Today, we bid you goodbye. Our airport representative will transfer you to the airport approximately 3 hours of your scheduled flight.
